Baptiste Pauthe × J'ai la côte
For this first collection, J'ai la côte had the privilege of collaborating with artist Baptiste Pauthe, a painter and trained architect whose universe explodes with pastels and nude women, a free and joyful celebration of femininity.
Raised in Seignosse, on the Atlantic coast, between his mother's garden and his father's painting studio, Baptiste has been immersed in colors and nature his entire life. After graduating with a degree in architecture in Bordeaux, he began painting far from the coast, first for his school projects, then to express his most intimate emotions. Through comic books, sculpture, and painting, he found his voice.
Frustrated by the routine of an architectural firm, he decided to dedicate himself entirely to painting. Exhibitions, frescoes, body painting, collaborations... His work is inspired by his travels, the people he meets, and above all, love.
"The curves of a loved one were my first inspiration. They gave shape to my emotions, structuring my universe with a sensitive, fluid gesture, like an encounter inscribed on canvas."
His work and J'ai la côte speak the same language: color as language, women as subject, freedom as a guiding thread. This collaboration was therefore destined to be. 🧡
